TODAY IN HIPHOP: On this day in 2006, Chris Ludacris Bridges dropped his fifth album, Release Therapy. A far cry from his previous albums, Release Therapy tackled various social issues. The most prominent track included Mary J. Blige-assisted single, Runaway Love, which addressed teenage runaways. The album drew mixed reactions from fans and critics alike, yet it went on to be certified platinum and won two Grammy Awards including Best Rap Album of 2007.
