**TODAY!!!** (ages 21 and over) Indiana Bulldog Rescue is participating in this year’s Putt from the Ruff in Broad Ripple on Saturday, September 20! IBR will have a booth at the hole at Old Pro’s Table (827 Broad Ripple Ave, Indianapolis, Indiana 46220) starting at noon! Our adoption coordinator will be there, many of our volunteers and some featured fosters are Boudreaux from noon-2:00, Sammy and Hope will be there from 2:00-4:00. Come meet us and learn what we are all about! The event benefits the National Canine Cancer Foundation (wearethecure.org), as well as two Indianapolis area animal charities: FIDO (Friends of Indianapolis Dogs Outside fidoindy.org), and GRRACE (Golden Retriever Rescue and Community Education GRRACE.org). What is Putt from the Ruff? It is a really fun event that raises money for our favorite canine friends. You will spend the afternoon in Broad Ripple hanging out with friends, having a great time, playing putt putt, watching college football and enjoying fall in Indiana. All while raising funds and awareness for a great cause. Teams of 4 golfers will travel between nine bars in Broad Ripple putting on greens created by each of the bars. Bar owners and their staff can have as much fun with the greens as their imagination will allow. They can be as simple or outlandish as those building it wish. They can have ridiculous obstacles (i.e. kegs, doghouses, water, etc.) or they can be a straight shot. We give complete freedom to each bar in order to increase the FUN for you! All holes are scored and prizes are given out to the top teams. What are the logistics? The event will take place on Saturday, September 20th, 2014 in Broad Ripple. Check-in will start at 10:30 AM at Broad Ripple Tavern. Tee-off at 12 PM at your first hole. Teams will return to Broad Ripple Tavern at 5 PM for final scoring and prizes.
