(Excerpts from Devotional Box by Dr Isaiah and Lianna Wealth). * * * 26th Sept. 2014 * * * PUT OUT YOUR FAITH * * * “But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.” - [Hebrews 11:6). We are in the season of plenty and new things, but if you must receive what God is giving to you in this season, you must put out your faith. This means expressing your confidence in God irrespective of the situation, your feelings or other people’s opinion. Until you put out your faith, God’s power would not flow in your direction. Remember the woman with the issue of blood who made up her mind to touch the helm of Jesus’ garment because she was confident that her healing would come thereby. Even though Jesus was not aware of her predicament and resolve, power still flowed out of Him to heal the woman who had put out her faith. Glory to God! God’s power has been customized and automated to relate with you when you have confidence in it and step out in faith. Today, you must declare and act out your confidence in the Word of God in prayer, in constantly speaking and obeying the Word of God concerning every area of your life. This would ensure that God’s promises speedily come to pass. Even so, the terror of going through an earthquake of this magnitude can affect them for a long time. PRAY FOR CHILE: We are praying for God’s protection over the Chilean Christians. That they and all that they have will be shielded from any harm. * * * START UP PRAYER: Dear Lord, as I study the word today, cause faith to be impacted in my spirit in Jesus name. * * * PRAYER OF CONSECRATION Oh Lord my God, I thank you for your love for me since the year began. Father, I consecrate myself to you this month. Let me not fall short of your best for my life this year. Open my heart to new things by your Spirit. Fill me with the knowledge of your will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding. Let my heart yearn for you every hour in Jesus Name.
