TODAYS DEVOTIONAL REFOCUS ON DILIGENCE July 7, 2014 By Dr. Isaiah & Lianna Wealth Yet a little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to sleep: So shall thy poverty come as one that travelleth, and thy want as an armed man. Proverbs 6 10-11 Whatever is nurtured develops and grows to become better and more pronounced, the opposite is true for whatever is left fallow. Our text today reiterates that poverty comes to the man whose arms are folded, that is the man who does nothing meaningful in the direction of his vision or what he claims to expect. The lifestyle of diligence is a must-have where achieving all-round success is concerned. No man can expect what God has given him to increase or be sustained when he constantly neglects them. Paul in his letter to Timothy warns him not to be negligent of the gifts of God in his life. (1Timothy 4:14). The same is what I am writing to you today. What are the gifts and blessings that God has added to your life over the years? Are you consciously thinking of ways to polish, refine and make them better? Do not forget that nothing works without a worker. If you must see increase, then you must quit being passive about your life, your work, your children and your Christian walk among others. Wake up! You cannot afford negligence. If you want to achieve all that God has promised you this year, you must wake up and be diligent to do all that is required of you. You will succeed! Glory to God. WE PROPHESY ON YOU TODAY (SAY AMEN TO THIS): Receive grace to be diligent with all God has blessed you with in Jesus name. PLAN TO: Ponder on the progress made as regards your gifts and the blessings God added to your life. Is it significant? If No, consider what you have not been doing and get to work. SAY: I decree and I declare that I am diligent and not negligent. Daily Bible Study: JOB 1&2, JAMES 2, PSALM 38 CONTINUOS PRAYING i.
