TTOD: Walked to clinic today.....felt great! Its kind of cool to walk into clinic now that I dont look like death! Everyone that Ive seen for the past couple months now looks at me and smiles and comments on how good im looking!!! Who would have thought I was on ANTI-REJECTION medicine? Ha! Surviving!!! The Doc said my numbers are damn near perfect......98% better than most liver transplant patients so far after surgery.....Amazing how quick the body heals itself....truly a miracle!! Im a survivor!!! Useless word to know (unless you have a bad Gizzard) BULIRUBIN. bilirubin is everyones body found in bil......it is produced when the liver breaks down old red blood cells and is able to dispose of them.....now you know what bili is.....in closing...my doc says to me your bilirubin is 1.8 (which is about what level the norm is). My bili was always high needless to say but to hear this was an answer to prayer because that means the liver is working properly! The doc leans over to me as he is telling me this and jokingly says Im pretty hood huh?? I replied the best--- and that Im a pretty good patient too!!! Dont give up....dont ever give up....
