TODAY’S FRESH BREAD (HE IS HELP IN WEAKNESS) Hebrews 4:15 For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. I have heard Christians say this, “If you want to overcome sin when temptation comes, ask yourself what Jesus would He have done, then do that”. But the problem is that, you are not Jesus Christ and also, your knowledge of what He would have done is limited. Jesus did not come to on earth to give you a standard that you must attain. Such a thought brings a sense of GUILT and CONDEMNATION when you fail. That is not the heart of God for you. Mostly when we are faced with difficult tasks or when we fail, parents will always tell us that, when they were our age, they were able to overcome, so we should have overcome what has overcome us. Mostly, this result into low self esteem and a life of accomplishment without real life and joy. That is not how Christ Jesus is. He did not overcome all temptations to tell us that we should also overcome to be worthy of His honor. That is far from His nature. He is a loving and gracious God. Christ knew all that we could ever feel even before the foundations of this earth was laid. He knew how it was to be hungry, lustful, disappointed, heartbroken, beaten up, rejected, forsaken, angry, poor, weak etc. He knew how all these were like. But for your sake, He came down as a man to experience them all. For the first time when Jesus came to earth, God experienced how it felt like to be hungry, lustful, disappointed, heartbroken, beaten up, rejected, forsaken, angry, poor, weak etc. He went through all these for your sake so that He will be your High Priest; the right person to help you when you are weak and down with all kinds of temptations. He was tempted in all points (in every way ever possible) yet He sinned not. He did this for you so that when you fail, He can tell you, “MY BELOVED, I HAVE OVERCOME FOR YOU. LOOK AT ME AND MY FINISHED WORK, AND NOT YOURSELF AND YOUR FAILURE”. He overcame all so that you will not struggle to overcome but trust in Him to manifest His life through your. HE IS YOUR RIGHTEOUSNESS AND YOUR SUCCESS. HE IS YOUR HELP IN TIME OF NEED…… Good Morning
