TODAY’S FRESH BREAD (THE PRESENCE OF JESUS) Genesis 39:2 And the LORD was with Joseph, and he was a prosperous man; and he was in the house of his master the Egyptian. Beloved, as I was writing Fresh Bread for yesterday, I was thinking of how a slave boy was a prosperous man even in his slavery. Even in his pain and agony, he was called a prosperous man by God. I can bet you on this; if God calls you a prosperous man, then you are indeed a prosperous man. How could a slave boy be a prosperous man in a foreign land, away from his father’s security and supply. What was his secret? “And the LORD was with Joseph, and he was a prosperous man…” What made Joseph a prosperous man in a foreign land was the PRESENCE OF GOD. God was with him and He made Joseph a prosperous man. It is the presence of Jesus Christ in you, that makes you prosperous. How sweet and comforting it is to know that the Almighty God is with you. If God is on your side, who can be against you? Beloved, God’s presence in you is not based on anything you do. It is not about how much you pray or read the Bible. The presence of God is with you because Jesus Christ sacrificed Himself for you to be worthy of His presence. As you read this, know that He is with you. He will not be with you more today and a little tomorrow. If it is because of Jesus Christ, then the fullness of God is with you. The fullness of the presence of Jesus Christ is with you today, tomorrow and forever. It is the presence of Jesus that will calm the storm, break the barriers, set you free and bring you success, victory and makes you more than a conqueror. The presence of Jesus Christ is with you, therefore all the blessings of God are for you. Do not believe that you need more of God. You already have the fullness of God through Jesus Christ. No matter what you are going through, know and believe that the presence of Jesus is with you and therefore, you are a prosperous man….. Good Morning
