TODAY’S WORD: 26th June, 2013 John 9:6-7 When he had thus spoken, he spat on the ground, and made clay of the spittle, and he anointed the eyes of the blind man with the clay, And said unto him, Go, wash in the pool of Siloam, (which is by interpretation, Sent.) He went his way therefore, and washed, and came seeing. Going through the back ground story of our text for today, it is about a man that was blind which Jesus and His disciples came across. The man in question was born blind. When he encountered Jesus, to heal him our text says Jesus spat on the ground and made clay from it which He pasted on the sockets that should house his eyes. You will remember that in Genesis this was the way man was made, man was made from dust. What this suggests to me is that Jesus is still in the business of creation. Since man was made from the dust of the ground and for this man, it was as if his eyes were missing from creation, Jesus had to make clay from the dust of the ground and create a brand new pair of eyes for him. Is any part of your body missing? Jesus is still creating today and will create those missing parts in your body if you can believe. God has not stopped creation; He is still busy mending and creating new body parts. Are you sick in any part of your body or has any part of your body been damaged by any means? The Lord will repair and if necessary completely replace those parts in Jesus name. Do you have a damaged womb, a damaged eyes, a damaged ear or you know someone with a damaged brain, place your hand now on such part and receive a replacement in Jesus name. Joel 2:25; And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpiller, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you. Pray today: Father, by your creative power, restore in my life now whatever has been damaged or is missing in Jesus name.
