TOMORROW I will be participating in a Huachuma ritual, not my brew but that of a maestro I met two days ago. Not business as usual, but it had to happen, it was planned, no coincidence. I met the right people, or they met me and knew about me and I was the person to be invited by someone who was allowed by the maestro to find one person to complete the group. That night at 9 pm I was invited to the maestros home and the guest, one Swiss, one English lady, another Peruvian, the maestro and his wife, and I, began to skin the San Pedro after we connected to him for some 10 minutes, Reiki stye, hands on and above the cactus. I was the last guest to remain, until 4a m with the maestro, we discussed our visions we have had in the past, ideas, different recepies, and so forth. I am now dieting for the big day tomorrow. I show you here a Huachuma ritual form Cusco. I expressly did nt take pictures of the maceration of the cactus, the maestro would not have allowed either. Oh, yes, the technique was that we skinned the cactus and teh skins were to be dried in the sun for two days on the roof.
