TONIGHT, DECEMBER 2ND, 7 PM, Pompton Lakes Elks Lodge No. 1895, 15 Perrin Avenue, Pompton Lakes, NJ! OPEN PUBLIC MEETING!! RE: DuPont Contamination Environmental Concerns!! Environmental-Certified Engineer Richard Chapin, M.S., P.E., BCEE will be going over his review of DuPonts Horizontal Well Cleanup Pilot Study Plan. This pipe will be 20 feet into the ground and approximately 2400 ft. long. It will be installed next to the railroad tracks once it receives all needed approvals. Countless amounts of water will be put through this pipe to help assist productivity of the Pump N Treat System which is installed on DuPonts former munitions site. Residents are concerned about flooding - an issue which will be included in Mr. Chapins presentation at this Pompton Lakes Community Advisory Group (PLCAG) meeting.
