TONIGHTS WORD IS LONG BUT DEAD ON!! So tonights word is a long one but one much over due... I once heard this preached and it has stuck with me. I know Im not alone when I say I have once really cared what people thought and said about me. If you take time to read some of the news feeds on facebook and other areas you will not have to look hard to find someone you know bashing another person or even making fun of them... No I did not go down the news feed tonight and see someones post and start typing at them... trust me if this is hitting home to you its Gods work not mine... it has just been heavy on my heart to share that no matter what some of us do in life we will always have those who dislike us and frankly will go out of there way to talk bad about us... just look at it like this... there is 100% of the people out there you know.... 25% of them will most likely never like you no matter what you say or do... another 25% will like you but it will not take much for them to change there minds about you... another 25% will prob not like you at first but can be convinced to like you... and then there is the last 25% that will always have your back no matter what... Trust me if you look at people and just care for them no matter what they say but put them in there categories..., well you will not worry yourself so much about what others think and you will have more time to focus on God and what he has planned for you... Gods favors on your life will always bring out jealousy and hate in the people that are astray... try not to get offended but use this as an opportunity to be there light in the presence of darkness... God bless you all and have a blessed night. So, chosen by God for this new life of love, dress in the wardrobe God picked out for you: compassion, kindness, humility, quiet strength, discipline. Be even-tempered, content with second place, quick to forgive an offense. Forgive as quickly and completely as the Master forgave you. And regardless of what else you put on, wear love. It’s your basic, all-purpose garment. Never be without it. Let the peace of Christ keep you in tune with each other, in step with each other. None of this going off and doing your own thing. And cultivate thankfulness. Let the Word of Christ—the Message—have the run of the house. Give it plenty of room in your lives. Instruct and direct one another using good common sense. And sing, sing your hearts out to God! Let every detail in your lives—words, actions, whatever—be done in the name of the Master, Jesus, thanking God the Father every step of the way. Wives, understand and support your husbands by submitting to them in ways that honor the Master. Husbands, go all out in love for your wives. Don’t take advantage of them. Children, do what your parents tell you. This delights the Master no end. Parents, don’t come down too hard on your children or you’ll crush their spirits. (Colossians 3:12-21 MSG)
