TOO COOL! I am sure that those that went into these aircraft under combat conditions wouldnt describe it as cool and to you I apologize but this aircraft is so impressive and two is just beyond explanation. I had a friend who won the DFM as a F/Sgt and mid upper gunner in a Lancaster. John O. Leprich (look him up) was mentioned in dispatches and was awarded his DFM for shooting down a ME 262 while holding his guns together with his bare hands. I understood it to have been the first time a german jet was shot down. John told me that he and his tail gunner also claimed a Komet jet plane.
