TOOO many Laughs a minute in the past week brought on by my 5 year Old bonus Pickin UchePraise and I wonder how on earth I missed out on such wonder years with my three teens.... Bringing him home from school today the following conversation ensued: Uche: Mummy, have you grown up? Me: Yes, why are you asking. Uche: if you are grown up why arent you something? Me: Something? How Uche: like Osy and I we want to be Pilots, Chika and Chubie want to be Engineers. So what are you?......okay, Okay I know you are a driver. Me: really a driver why? Uche: You drive us everywhere when Uncle David is not around. Me: I see. So what is your Daddy. Uche: ah Mummy my Daddy is a Golfer. Me: No! He is a Business Manager. Uche: (in deep thought) so when Chubie (his 14 yr od brother) used to follow daddy during the holidays to play golf, he was a business manager....Ok Business Manager Golfer.. Me: stop pls I have a headache (reaching for my phone I called his father and he cracked up on the other end of the phone)... Uche: so if you are not a driver what are you? .......AND THAT GOT ME THINKING....Getting home I turned to him and said I know what I am, I am your driver, your cook, your washerman, your shopper,I am your MUMMY AND I LOVE MY JOB. ... YOU SHOULD HAVE SEEN THE WIDE GRIN THAT SPREAD ON HIS FACE.....
