TOPIC: ARE YOU A BELIEVER? DATE: FEBRUARY 1st. 2014 SCRIPTURE: Mark 16:17-18 “And these signs and wonders will follow those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues; they will pick up snakes with their hands; they will drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well”. *Have you accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Master? If you have, then you are a believer; meaning you believe in Jesus as the savior and the word of God to be true. If you are a believer then nothing should dominate you, rather you have the authority to dominate anything that is troubling your life. You have the power and authority through the word of God to take control of every life’s situation. Many believers are not living the life that they deserve to live because of their non application of the word of God. The word of God never said that signs and wonders will follow Pastors, Prophets, Apostles etc, but rather any believer. Your life should be followed by signs and wonders. With the word of God as a weapon, you should be able to command that sickness to leave your body. You should be able to speak to that mountain you are facing to move and it will move. You derive your authority from the word of God. What does the word of God say about the situation that your are confronted with? Many a time, most believers think they need to consult their Pastors, Apostles Etc before they can confront their situations. I am not saying that it is a bad idea, rather am encouraging you to take authority as a believer. You also have the power to cast out demons, lay hands on the sick etc as the Bible says. You have dominion over sicknesses and diseases and so you can refuse to be sick. Take dominion of whatever that you are confronted with as a believer for that is your rightful role in Christ. Confession for Today: I confess that signs and wonders shall follow me all the days of my life because I believe in Jesus as the Lord and master of my life.
