Its clear who the Cavs should take: Canadian Andrew Wiggins. He will be the next NBA superstar. This will be a decision they will not regret. If the reports are true and Parker tanked his workout on purpose, provides even more reason to select Wiggins who thrived in his workout. Also Wiggins wants to be chosen #1 by Cleveland. Dont buy the instant gratification argument (win now) favoring Parker. Was reported that he was disinterested in workout, while previously expressing discontent with being selected by Cavs first overall. Lesson: Trying to convince a person to select you when they have made it clear that they want no part of you, is a recipe for disaster and heartache. Besides the position he would play-power forward- already has Anthony Bennett and Tristan Thompson. Essentially, they would be duplicating what they did last year and previous years. Why not take Wiggins and allow him and fellow Canadians Bennett and Thompson to thrive by encouraging each other to be the best they can be as a unit. Both on and off the court, strong chemistry occurs by cultivating and building on existing authentic, genuine relationships. Under solid leadership of Coach Blatt, Cavs 2014-2015 starting lineup should be: PG-Irving SG-Waiters SF-Wiggins PF-Bennett C-Thompson. Not only will they be a playoff team this year with cultivated chemistry, collectively they will bring multiple championships to the 216.
