Opposite of peace = Unhappiness, Discontent, Conflict, Materialism, War etc. ASSURED = Protected against change. False teachers encouraged men to expect peace and salvation without repentance, faith, conversion, and holiness of life. That is why their PEACE is not ASSURED. Phil 3:10 - That I may know Him and power of His resurrection. Matt 6:33 - Nothing is really more important than serving God. Haggai 1:1-15 - Stop delaying and build Gods house now. Haggai 2:5-9 - Covenant with God. Haggai 2:19 - Assurance of PEACE. Col 3:1-2 - Set your affection on things above. Christ is the temple of God. He is the means by which we can commune with God and live in His presence. The gospel age brought this blessing to all who would trust in Christ. By Birth, none of us are children of God, with any right to be in His Kingdom. By Adoption, we become children of God, and part of His Kingdom. Unspiritual attempts to make a Ministry successful can actually be a counterfeit for the true purpose of a Ministry. When somebody asks how are you doing, you can tell them, better than yesterday, less than tomorrow. We should live with the expectation that we will be growing more Christ-like, filled with Gods joy, peace, and perseverance everyday. CONCLUSION: John 16:33 John 14:27
