TORO IS FULL OF BULL: Meet TORO a bull snake that is a sub specie of the gopher snake. I just got trained to handle him yesterday for the first time yesterday. When you take him out, he is intimidating, as he likes to go toward you to strike, but does not...a bluffer. Their habitat is from foothills of Mexico to the mountains of Canada. TORO is currently 6 feet and will grow to 8-10 feet. He does resemble a rattle snake and will shake his tail to scare predators. There are different colors & patterns throughout his body which allow him to blend in any habitat setting. Come on down to Riverbanks Zoo and let me introduce you to TORO who is a lot of bull for a snake.
