TORONTO MAPLE LEAFS HOME OPENER MEMORIES: When my son was a boy we used to take the subway ride down to the big city and watch the Leafs play at The Mecca of the NHL - Maple Leaf Gardens. I used to wait until the Gardens was dead quiet and then at the top of my lungs yell out GOOOOOOOLEEEEEAAAAFSGOOOOOOO! Took about 20 seconds to do it! When I finished the crowd would go wild and my son would turn red and hide his face. Tonight, because we cant afford $700 for tickets we watched at home. I cant go 20 seconds anymore but my son reminded me about his childhood trauma. #scarred4life
