TOTD: So rumor has it that YPG is setting up a foreign freedom fighters group. I have been approached by a reader to ask what I think the response would be and what would the network response be about such a thing? This is volunteer work folks, and not contracting. So here it is. Would guys be interested in joining such a group and what are your concerns when it comes to logistics or command and control or whatever? I doubt there would be pay, and if so, it would probably be very little. But definitely bring up what you think needs to happen with such a group, in order for it to be viable. I believe YPG is not on any terrorist list, and volunteering to fight in other peoples wars are not illegal from what I have read. Just ask Matthew VanDyke about what he did in Libya. Rob Krott has some experiences with this kind of thing as well.
