TRAIL UPDATE: This last weekend produced a lot of snow accumulation in the upper regions. San Juan County is currently working on re-opening Animas Forks for the 3rd time. They will be working up Engineer and Cinnamon next week out of Animas. Hinsdale/Lake City is encountering 60ft snowbanks on their side of Engineer, but are working diligently to open the trail by Memorial Day. Yankee Boy remains open, and Ouray County is working on Red Mountain Town Loop and Corkscrew. Our side of Engineer probably wont see equipment until after Memorial Day.
