TRAINED, NEUTERED, KID-LOVING, SWEET, ☆*•♪ ROCKY ☆ (A1013465) ** Experienced pet loves people, play and snuggles! ** To make things more complicated, there are two dogs named Rocky on tonights euth list. This 1.5 year-old boy is a gorgeous brindle Pit mix, with a great SAFER and a great smile, and he needs a foster or adopter NOW! A volunteer writes: Roc-ky! Roc-ky! Roc-ky! Everyone loves an underdog and sweet, snuggly Rocky is one who deserves to come out on top! Passed around various members of his former family until they had no time left to devote to him, this brindle beauty is at the Care Center through no fault of his own and were hoping it wont be long before hes snug in the warm embrace of a loving new home. Just like his namesake, our Rocky is good guy with a lot of heart and though he can be a little apprehensive at first - and leads me on a merry dance as I try to leash him! - once free in the yard he knows exactly where to go...straight for my lap! Rocky just loves to cuddle and he gives nice, friendly stand-up hugs too. Were told hes shy at first with strangers but lived in harmony with both an older child who was his playmate and more recently, a little one and a toddler. Hes said to be house and crate trained and boy, did he pee a river the minute we hit the yard--good job Rocky! He comes when called, sits on command and takes treats nicely from my open palm and once Rocky realizes where that bag of deliciousness is hidden, a wet little nose snuff snuff snuffles my pocket for more. As we stroll down the street, other dogs are met with good manners and happy tail wags and it seems that Rocky would get along with pretty much anyone, whether they walk on two legs or four. Ask to meet him and I guarantee Rocky will win your heart in no time with his good looks and funny, loving ways. Hes already neutered and ready to leave for a new home right now, so why wait?
