Rant time. If you dont want to read a rant, please keep scrolling down your news feed. Can women stop trying to act like they are so nice and sweet? Id rather have a woman be honest to herself & others and be herself than to fake her way through life. Not everyone is Mary Poppins. We are complex beings. We have our good & bad days, our good & bad traits. Stop trying to be something youre not. I know people can be fooled by your act, but isnt it tiring to have to maintain this front. I understand we have to be polite to some people because of work, school, etc. However, that shouldnt rob you of all personality. I know I can be mean, or weird, or sarcastic. Im not saying Im necessarily proud of those things or that I dont try to improve myself, but I recognize those aspects of myself. Dont diminish the complexity that you are by being anything less than yourself. And this is not for those people who are genuinely nice and sweet. Keep being yourself as well!
