TRAVEL - My Usual Trip to France in October I havent talked about my trip to France this summer because it was rather a sad one. Our dear friends at whose country house we have stayed for thirty-years, contracted encephalitis in June and was in a coma for several weeks, from which she emerged a changed woman. We all love her, and I miss the old bossy-boots friend she used to be. Im wishing her well and we are giving what support we can. I feel as though a section of our lives has peeled away and it will never be the same again. Still hoping though, that expert neurological help will get her through. Hope is a strong emotion, a force for good. Let us all hope.
