TRAVEL NEWS: A38 closed in both directions near #Burton please avoid if possible. Emergency services are dealing with two collisions which were reported just after 1.40pm and as a result both the northbound and southbound carriageways are closed between Claymills (Stretton) and Branston junctions. Lengthy delays are likely on the northbound as this collision involves an overturned fuel tanker which has spilled fuel over the carriageway. The southbound collision involves two vehicles and injuries are not thought to be life threatening. We will update when further info is known.
