TREAT PEOPLE HOW YOU WANT TO BE TREATED!!! :) I was in a fast food joint the other week, and I heard a lot of shouting at the back of the cooking area, and the voice was soooo loud that the whole restaurant could hear it! This is what he was saying (shouting) at the young boy: THIS IS HOW YOU MOP THE FLOOR LIKE A MANAGER, WAAAAATCH, LIKE THIS... I sat down and starting eating, and then he started shouting at the young boy again! We overheard the girl on the front counter saying to one of her colleagues who had just walked in to start work, that she was meant to leave at 4:30pm, and it was now 6:15pm, but was told she had to stay on! So then a guy in his mid twenties came to the front counter from the cooking area, it turns out he was the manager, and I thought that it was him doing all the shouting, so I went up to the counter and said; was that you shouting your head off at that young boy?... The manager said; no, its the franchise owner out the back... So, I said, im disgusted at the way hes shouting at his staff, can you please tell him, or bring him out here and ill tell him myself... The manager said, I wish you would tell him sir, it would be great to see him get grilled in front of us... They were all petrified of this franchise bully! The manager told him that I wanted to speak with him, and out came a guy in his early 40s, arrogant swagger, cocky as, and I just told him that I was disgusted with the way he was treating his staff, I said that I was also a business owner, and to treat anybody the way he was treating his staff was absolutely disgusting, and that hes lucky to even have staff left... In a cocky, arrogant, dismissive way, he said; I appreciate your feedback, ill take it on board... But, the way he said it, he might as well have said go f#ck yourself, I didnt hear anything you said... Dont treat people like crap, we are ALL flesh and blood, we ALL have feelings, so heres a quote to start your day: Everyone has an invisible sign hanging from their neck saying, Make me feel important.
