TRIBUTE TO JIMI JAMISON Musicians Rock the House benefit for Ronald McDonald House of Memphis, Sunday, Sept., 21st, 2:00-11:00 PM. As most of you are aware, Jimi Jamison was scheduled to perform for our benefit Musicians Rock the House and, sadly, Jimi passed away unexpectedly on August 31st. With the blessings of Jimis wife, Debbie, & his family, we will be having a TRIBUTE TO JIMI JAMISON instead. It will consist of videos and photos of Jimi, a great man so many of you knew and loved as your family and friend. This tribute will result in a slight change to our lineup. Eddie Harrison & the ShortKuts featuring Debbie Jamison will perform from 8:00-8:45 PM, followed by our TRIBUTE TO JIMI JAMISON from 9:00 to 9:45 PM. The famous Almost Famous band will wrap up our evening from 10:00-10:45 PM. Jimi is continuously acclaimed as one of the top male vocalist & songwriters and was the frontman for rock bands Cobra and Survivor. Casey Kasem, the well known DJ, called him, The Voice. Some of Jimis top hits include, Eye of the Tiger, The Search Is Over, and High on You. We look forward to you attending Musicians Rock the House and our TRIBUTE TO JIMI JAMISON. This is a benefit for Ronald McDonald House of Memphis that Jimi was excited about and eager to donate his time and vast talent to supporting.
