TRUST GOD PSALM 91:2; NLT: This I declare about the LORD: He alone is my refuge, my place of safety; he is my God, and I trust him. Have you ever felt like there was a predator in the room? You know you walk around hyper-vigilant with a sense of fear and dread. There is a hum in your gut, like being in you car at a red light with your foot on the gas. This impending doom is based on what we believe about ourself and what we dont believe about God. We believe we are unlovablle, damaged goods, on the verged of being abandoned, forgotten and banished to a horrible abyss. We dont believe God really love us, will protect us, or is safe. However, the Psalmist knew the truth. He declared that God was his refuge, his place of safety. He put his trust in God. He later wrote, Those who live in the shelter of the Most High will find rest in the shadow of the Almghty. Today, accept Gods invitation and find your shelter in His love. He is your God, you can trust Him. Dear Father, we come to You for safety. You are our refuge. You are our God and we put all our trust in You. AMEN
