TRUSTING GOD IN DIFFICULT TIMES. . . Bad things do happen to good people who are Gods people. Saints do have their struggles. We are not exempted from tests, trials, tribulations, tragedies, traumas, temptations, torments, and troubles in this world. All these things and many more happen to those of us who love God and know Jesus as our Saviour. The question is: How do we respond to these events? Can we still trust God? Can we continue to rejoice in God when things go wrong? The answer to all these inquiries is absolutely yes. I am here to say that we should trust God at all times and under all circumstances. Like the prophet Habakkuk who though in the midst of starvation because of crop failure, still declared in Habakkuk 3:17--- “Though the fig tree should not blossom And there be no fruit on the vines, Though the yield of the olive should fail And the fields produce no food, Though the flock should be cut off from the fold And there be no cattle in the stalls, Yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will joy in the God of my salvation.
