Rachel Aliene Corrie Born: April 10, 1979 Murdered: March 16, 2003 On March 16, 2003, Rachel Corrie, a beautiful 23-year-old peace activist and member of International Solidarity Movement from Olympia, Washington, was in Rafah, Palestine trying to protect peoples homes from illegally being bulldozed, when she was crushed to death by an Israel Defense Forces armored bulldozer (made in the United States by the company Caterpillar). No one was ever held responsible for killing her. The United States government did next to nothing to admonish Israel for her heinous murder.
