TUESDAY SEVERE WEATHER UPDATE: Hi everyone! I wanted to give you the latest concerning tomorrows threat for storms. There is still a threat for severe weather on Tuesday afternoon through night across the Gulf Coast. At this time, it appears the most likely timeframe will be after dark through early Wednesday morning. Rain chances will be high all day long from morning into the afternoon. The CIPS Analogs still show a decent chance of severe weather reports tomorrow evening especially west of the Mobile Metro. The orange colors indicate about a 60% chance of a severe weather report occurring given past events with similar conditions. The SLIGHT RISK area has been maintained and it includes the entire Gulf Coast. Computer models are forecasting the heaviest storms to move through between 8-11 pm tomorrow night. Keep in mind the timing on this could change with faster moving storms moving in a bit earlier and the opposite for slower moving storms. All threats are on the table with damaging winds most likely. Storms should move out during the pre-dawn hours on Christmas Eve. Im off the grid this week for the Christmas holiday but meteorologists Kelly Foster and Deitra Tate will keep you updated tonight and tomorrow morning. Ill also be posting updates in between feeding little Xaiden! #alwx
