TV shows such as Miami Ink and LA Ink did help make tattoos more - TopicsExpress

TV shows such as Miami Ink and LA Ink did help make tattoos more mainstream but they also hurt small tattoo shops bye making it seemed like tattooing was simple to do. Seems like everyone Tom Dick and Harry ran out in and bought a tattoo kit and became overnight tattoo artists. Whats the worst is this commercial by Loan Max thats all over local TV showing this guy Shane Taylor. Him and his girlfriend say that they decided to go out with the money they borrowed and bought the equipment he needed 2 fulfill his dream of being a tattoo artist. Shane goes on to say now after 6 months he was an accomplished tattoo artist lol. So I did a little investigating, by using Facebook I found Shane Taylor . Turns out he lives in Dayton Ohio so I got a hold of him and acted like I was interested in a tattoo. I asked him what shop he worked at, he called himself an independent tattoo artist. I said so what does that mean you tattoo out of your kitchen? He said no, he had a spare room set up in his apartment tattoo in. When I asked him why he would go on TV and tell a bold face lie calling himself an accomplished tattoo artist when all he was was a scratcher stealing money from true professionals that tattoo in shops like the law requires he was done talking...roflmfao I think loan max should research the people they put on TV doing testimonials, what a loser..
