TWENTY FOUR HOURS OF BAD LUCK. Set back and listen to my story I’ll tell it if I can. All about me and my bad luck, the worlds most unlucky man. Although it’s just one day of my life it really makes me sad. Because on that day the only luck I had turned out to be all bad. It started when I awoke this morning somehow I was on the floor. One leg back behind my head the other out the door. When I stood I lost my balance and fell headlong across my bed. Not seeing where I was going the nightstand caught my head. Finally when I thought the worst was over I stepped into the shower. Stepped on a bottle of shampoo my foot bled for half an hour. Downstairs my coffee was waiting so I went down to have a cup. Fell all the way to the bottom, me and my bad luck. Started to drink my coffee set down in my favorite chair. With a sudden crash I hit the floor, Coffee Everywhere! I went to work limping and as I started out the door. Slid on the welcome mat and broke my arm, But Wait! There’s more. Slipped on ice in my driveway slid all the way to the car. Hit my head on the bumper couldn’t see very far. Woke up one hour later, snow was everywhere. I had laid in my driveway for more than an hour and my neighbors didn’t even care. It’s too late now to go to work, I couldn’t make it anyway. Better try to get back inside to cold out here to stay. I finally made it back inside, set down to watch TV. Tried to turn on my lamp, “Electricity All Over Me!” I woke up again, It was dark outside my head was racked with pain. Went outside to get some air looked up and it started to rain. I hope tomorrow’s a better day, It couldn’t get much worse. I think before I go outside I’ll check my horoscope first. Fred R. Parks
