TWO ARRESTED FOR HIGH RANGE DRINK DRIVING LAST WEEKEND- THINK BEFORE YOU DRIVE North Shore Police stopped a 50-year-old woman from Terrigal as she was driving her car on the Pacific Highway at Artarmon about 11:55pm on Sunday 9th March for a random breath test. The road side breath test returned a positive result. The woman was taken to Chatswood Police Station for a breath analysis which returned a reading of 0.193. The 50-year-old was charged with high range drink driving and her drivers licence was suspended on the spot. A 32-year-old man from Lindfield was stopped whilst driving his car in Railway Street, Chatswood around 2am on Sunday 9th March after it is alleged he was observed driving without his headlights on. Officers from north Shore stopped the vehicle and breath tested the driver. The roadside breath test returned a positive result. The 32-year-old was taken to Chatswood police station for a breath analysis which returned a result of 0.155. He was subsequently charged with high range drink driving and his drivers licence was suspended. He will appear in Hornsby Local Court at the end of the month.
