TWO ARRESTED IN HOME DAYLIGHT BURGLARIES MIAMI Co., --- (November 19, 2014) The Miami County Sheriff’s Office has arrested Thomas J. Gearhart, twenty-three years of age, from Tipp City on burglary charges. The arrests stem from an investigation to date which has cleared six daytime burglaries in Miami County in Bethel, Monroe, and Union townships. Two additional burglaries have been linked to locations in Montgomery County. Justin M. Johnson, twenty-four years of age, from Tipp City is being sought for questioning for his connection to this investigation. An arrest warrant has issued. The detective section has recovered some of the stolen property and the investigation in ongoing. Citizens are encouraged to report suspicious activity and lock houses, cars, and outbuildings.
