TWO GROUPS OF BELIEVERS: There are two groups of believers in the world today; Most believers are not genuine Christian believers or followers of the Lord. In fact Jesus said, they are the vast majority. Why? Two reasons; (1) They do not have (spiritual) ears to hear. He that hath ears to hear, let him hear what the Spirit sayeth unto the churches. (2) They cannot see spiritual truth because they have not been born from above. Jesus said to Nicodemus, ...except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. No matter how hard one may try, the non-elect are not going to see it...regardless of how hard we try to help them. Shall we stop then? Never, we shall seek to find them the rest of our days. For the Lord has taken out a people for His name. Then, there are the few that be that find it or few there be that go in thereat. They are the much smaller minority of all humanity. They are the ones who have ears to hear and eyes to see because they have been born from above. All the while the rest are confused because they seek but cannot find. They are ever seeking but never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. I am reminded of Esau who sold his birthright to Jacob for a bowl of pottage and lost it...though he carefully sought it with tears. It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.
