Tabitha had a Davison model 350 sewing machine in the cabinet given to her today. I have scoured the internet looking for a manual for it and can not find any info at all about a Davison sewing machine. But I decided to look at photos of various machines from the period and have found out it looks identical to the White 844 sewing machine (and the White 944). I cant get a free manual for it but did for the 944, the 944 has a two selection mode for the foot feed while the 844 has three but are pretty much identical so Ive downloaded the 944s for reference. Everything appears to work great on it (very well taken care of almost no dust anywhere on or in it) so now to do some very minor oiling of it, tighten the drive belt and take some Murphys oil to the cabinet and shell be set for life. Both the 844 and 944 were commercial quality heavy duty machines for home use and just the machine alone weighs about 30 pounds.....
