Takbir! Last Friday, a brother I did not know personally, donated £1000 sadaqa for the SKT Welfare | Syria Relief Convoy 2014. I personally went to see the brother (to thank him), wanting to explain more about the charity, and the great work they are doing (as he did not know who I was - he was donating through the contact of a good friend). I.e. a gesture of goodwill on my behalf in response to his amazing donation. I literally spent a minute with him and in that time he politely informed me that he had to leave for work and he did not need any more details or information - he just wanted our duas. He was happy to give the sadaqa and leave, with full trust in the work done by SKT Welfare. Alhamdilillah! I was left in awe, and thanked Allah that there are still brothers and sisters like him out there, smiles! Allah accept the noble brothers generous donation and grant him and his loved ones the reward in this life and the next! Allah grant him the best of both worlds and increase him in health and wealth, allowing to serve his family and the deen even more.
