Talk about a crazy week of mixed emotions! We deal with a lot of love and a lot of loss in the veterinary world, and it can certainly take a toll on us. We think of our patients as family and we love them dearly. As usual we had our difficult moments this week, but the bad came with some good at least. Our main kitty squeezes, Leo and Boots, came in for rechecks and both are doing AWESOME! Both boys had the highest blood cell numbers theyve seen in months! WOOHOO! Congratulations to their families, Dr. Werden and our CAC team for getting these two headed in the right direction. This week we are losing our lovely, dedicated assistant, Anastasia, back to school. We will miss her smile, her gentle way with patients, and her infectious joy. Shell be back for the holidays, though! And shes off to VET SCHOOL AT VIRGINIA TECH!!!!
