Talk about sweet ... Did you know that: Honey is the ONLY food that includes all the substances necessary to sustain life, including water; In her duty of filling the hive with honey, one honeybee will travel over 55,000 miles (usually within 3 miles of her hive) and will visit about 2 million flowers to make one pound of honey; AND a typical beehive makes more than 400 pounds of honey per year - so do the math on that!! Awesome! Honeybees are a great scientific mystery because they have remained unchanged - have not evolved nor devolved - for 20 million years, even through myriad changes on planet earth.
