Talk to the City Clerk today about the 1.5% Ad Valorem increase. She stated that she did not tell them it could be repealed but that all of it might not have to be used because of the rise in sale taxs. My concern is that they are going after a bond and they have not completed the repairs on waterlines and sewerlines in several communities in this city. If you would like Ms. Hess you can take a ride to my community and several other communities and find a great need for new waterlines and sewerlines. Are you planning applying for match funds from the feds to pave roads that you know have severe leaks. This is not the time for an increase until you have forfilled your obligation to the citizens and replaced their old waterlines and sewerlines.
