TamUr Jafari .. NSW, Australia ... Tamur Jafari, 13, trains six days a week at North Sydney PCYC but isn’t allowed to compete in the sport he loves. At 13, he has the strength, the skill and the determination but the law in New South Wales prevents boxers from competing until they turn 14. If the young fighter lived anywhere else in the country though, he could have been competing from the age of 10. “I want to compete here and I think I should be able to,” Tamur, who is this week’s Junior Sports Star Award nominee, said. “I want to become something in boxing.
