And Ben - remember how we thought about trying to build a coffee shop on school grounds with straw, cinder-blocks etc. so that students could have a student-run business assisted with us of course ... You arent going to believe this ... seriously. But ... I have something to share from a close friend of mine that will interest you as well as give us a piece to get kids thinking for our trip to Guatemala in two years ... Tammy - we can discuss this more on Friday ... Amanda Kracht Ward - Im thinking this is on your radar too. Sammie Landis Bruce - youre just way cool and have all kinds of things to share. Sandy Schwab Adams - stories that matter seem to be something that intrigues you as well. :) Alyssa Maske - Could this have some interest for the unit/plan we are working on together as far as our work. Reminded me of the conversation we had today. I feel like this might hook kids into some of the other work we are doing ... and its virtually local. Feels like dancing Enjoy. :) Susan Crabb ... i feel like at one point, my kids came home asking if their father could share some experiences for one of the units you guys did. I know my kids were highly engaged because they didnt stop blabbing ... I thought this might be the type of informational text that might fit well. Plus, the writers an Iowa guy. We might just be able to convince him to Skype with your kids sometime. Maybe ... ;)
