Tanzania Update from Kate: Your prayers keep me going when the days are long and hot! Today was a full day of games. I set up an obstacle course on their sports court. I had 6 groups of kids rotate through. We had hopscotch, crawling through a box, going under a jump rope, a horseshoe toss, walking around a plastic chair, balance beam on a board, 5 jumping jacks, log rolling on a blanket, walking backwards, weaving through chairs, ring toss, jumping, hopping on 1 foot, bean bag toss, balance beam - stepping over beanie babies, and skipping to the finish line. I asked every group what their favorite obstacle was - and it was .... Crawling through the box!!!! Next was probably rolling on the blanket. It was a hot day in the sun, but the Rafiki kids really enjoyed it! Thankfully Lydia let me borrow a wide brimmed hat that kept the sun off my face and neck. I think I made it through the day without any major sunburn. PTL! Sara led an art class and another missionary taught about the resurrection in preparation for Easter. All in all, another wonderful day serving the Lord in Tanzania. Thanks for your prayers. They keep me going when the days are long and hot.
