Taraba: Danbaba Returns On Saturday? By Ande Gabriel The second home coming of Governor Danbaba Danfulani Suntai of Taraba State after his two months medical sojourn abroad is being received by many with mixed feelings. His return was announced in a press statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary Hassan Mijinyawa. However, the media aid did not mentioned the date and time of the Governors arrival to Jalingo the state capital but only said: .....the Governor will arrived Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport Abuja on Saturday. Another element that need clarification was the duration of Sunatis stay in Nigeria before going back to hospital in England. The statement adds .....the Governor will after six weeks will go back to the hospital as advised by doctors. It has been also observed that there was no any statement or announcement from the government as regard to Suntais second home coming. This, came at a time when the state executive council asked the Speaker of the State Assembly to use his constitutional power to constitute a medical panel to investigate the health status of Governor Suntai as enshrined in section 189 sub section 4 of 1999 Nigerian constitution as amended. Sources closed to the Speaker Right Hon. Josea Sabo Kente confirmed that the Speaker has received the executive memo asking him to act on Danbabas health condition. Many questions need many answers.
