Tasman Cup - 1964-1975 For those who remember the great days of the Tasman Cup from the sixties and seventies, I am currently putting together my latest tome with the suppport of Jeff and Laura Hosnell of Printciple Source, and our fabulous artist, Andrew Green. Andrew has just sent this 90% final version of the cover of Tasman Cup - 1964-1975 and I thought it you all might like to see his stunning cover design. Full Throttle Publishing has produced some beautiful books in the past in conjunction with Printciple Source, and we are continuing to strive to put together stunning books covering Australia and New Zealands wonderful motor sport heritage, covering the oval track and road racing genres. Tasman Cup - 1964-1975 is, I hope, is a publication that will put our efforts on the map. With amazing images from the likes of Terry Marshall, Rod MacKenzie, Bill Forsyth, John Ellacott, Doug Eager, Autopics and many more, and the writing talents the brilliant Eoin Young, Ray Bell and a host of drivers who were participants in the series such as Derek Bell, Kevin Bartlett, Warwick Brown, Ken Smith, Jon Davison, Sir Jack Brabham, Sir Jackie Stewart, John Goss, Bruce Allison and many, many more, this treasure trove of memories will be a publication that is sure to excite all pure-blooded motor sport fans throughout the world. All results of every Tasman Cup race will be reproduced within, which includes starting and finishing positions, and an overview of every season up until the final race run in 1975. If anyone has photos, press kits, programs etc from the era, or would like to share their own memories of the Tasman Cup (and you dont have to be a driver, but they are ALL welcome to write their memories), please email Yours Truly (Tony Loxley) on: [email protected] All are welcome to contribute. This book is for EVERYONE who loved this sensational era of motor sport Down Under. The book will be around 320 pages and A4 landscape as per F5000 Thunder - The Titans of Road Racing 1970-1982. There will also be a special chapter at the end of the book covering the Tasman cars as they are raced today. More information will be posted in the following months relating to this very exciting project.
