A cold front will approach Tasmania early tomorrow then weaken as it stalls just to the southwest of the state. A low will deepen over the Bight during Wednesday and Thursday and slowly approach Tasmania. The low is expected to pass to the southwest of Tasmania early on Friday, with the associated cold front to cross the state during Friday. On Saturday, a high pressure system to the south of WA will extend a ridge to the south of Tasmania as a low develops on the front to the northeast of the state.
