Tavaya Davis is a 25 year old tax accountant & flight attendant that enjoys charity work, volunteering, thrifting, photography, and researching. Miss Davis enjoys living in Harlem because the area is bustling with people of all ages & ethnicities all in search of great music & people, tasty food & drinks. Harlem is home to historic brownstones, hidden gems locally owned & educational mural brick walls in vibrant hues of oranges, reds, and blues…just a few reasons why she she hearts Harlem. Miss Davis favorite meal at Harlem Shake includes the French Toast with Red Velvet cream cheese. Miss Davis makes Harlem special by always attempting to connect with other Harlemites she comes in contact with. Whether its at a restaurant bar or meeting someone on their stoop, she always engages in conversation, shares the latest & greatest about Harlem, encourages them to get involved, as well as volunteers and donates as often as possible. Ultimately, Tavaya Davis believes she should be Miss Harlem Shake because she embodies what Harlem is: culturally diverse, energetic, and radiant. She is passionate about those around her and enjoys socializing plus discovering & learning new things. Being honored as Miss Harlem Shake would allow her to reach more people & teach and/or learn about NYCs unrivaled Harlem neighborhood. If selected as the next Miss Harlem Shake, Miss Davis will be given the opportunity to donate $1,000 to her select non-profit of choice, Harlem Grown in addition to being the face of Harlem Shake representing the Harlem culture and community, $500 cash prize and free burgers for a year.
