Tawheed - it means oneness of Allah(swt). a person needs to believe in tawheed to become a Muslim. he needs to believe that Allah is the only one who created the heavens and the earth, the sun the moon and that he does everything, he also needs to believe that all sorts of worship have to directed to Allah(swt) only such as salah,siam,governing the state,etc. he also needs to believe that the names and attributes of Allah(swt) cannot be shared with anything/body else such as Allah is the only lawmaker, only one to give rain from sky, only one to give children, etc. if anyone believes anything opposite of this then he/she is doing shirk and does he/shes a mushrik n not a Muslim.
