Taylor Swift is joined by Lorde, Jaime King and pals for island getaway Taylor Swift is a girls girl who can count some of todays hottest stars as her BFFs. For Taylor theres nothing better than getting away from it all and soaking up a bit of winter sun with her nearest and dearest. The 25-year-old Blank Space hit maker enjoyed a leisurely stroll around Catalina Island, California, with pals on Friday including fellow crooner Lorde, actress Jaime King and figure skater Gracie Gold. Taylor could be seen in a tunic-style red mini dress showing off her slim tanned legs in suede ankle boots and covering her head in a black floppy hat as she walked beside her friends. The ladies are pictured strolling down a cobbled street of Avalon harbor before stopping for an ice cream treat. Taylors father Scott Swift was also on the trip and was seen walking with the Haim band members who were also part of the trip! Taylors year got off to a great start last week with news that her latest album 1989 was the biggest seller in America of 2014. The record, named after the year of her birth, sold 3.66 million copies nationally! It beat the Frozen soundtrack which finished the year in second place selling 3.53 million in America. Lordes track Yellow Flicker Beat features in The Hunger Games: Mockinjay Part 1 soundtrack and is nominated for Best Original Song at Tonights Golden Globes. On Friday the New Zealand natives mother Sonja took to Instagram announcing the family are in Los Angeles ahead of the ceremony.
