This is the price Indias MPs pay for their meals at Parliaments Canteen. This was leaked in papers in India few months ago. THESE PRICES ARE FOR OUR POOR MPS WHO ONLY EARN RS.130000.00/M EXCLUDING OTHER PERKS & BONUSES. India has 534 MPs and Indian Govt. OFFICIALLY spends appx. whopping 855 crores/years collectively on MPs wages, benefits, perks & so on, Rs.1.6 crore/MP. In the backdrop of Indian Govt.s Poverty cut off threshold of Rs. 28/day/person ,,,,,,, *** Now I understand why Politicians like Mr. Raj Babbar and others were jumping over each other to claim first that a full meal can be had for Rs. 12 in Delhi.*** *** Now I also know Why Mr. Rahul Gandhi claimed POVERTY IS A STATE OF MIND*** I FEEL ALL POOR PEOPLE SHOULD FORGET EVERYTHING ELSE & LINE UP OUTSIDE PARLIAMENT FOR MEALS, TWICE A DAY, VERY PEACEFULLY though. After all does not Congress and Mr. Rahul Gandhi claim to be TRUE FRIEND of Indias Poor. **** Some political party should help mobilize poor people to parliament for food instead of mobilizing them to political rallies.******* ###### Here a poor can buy one katori Dal for Rs. one and four chappatis, all under Rs. 4-5..###### India houses one third of Worlds poor.
